Learning to Love Your Enemies - Lecture
—Learning to love your enemies—
Loving your enemies can sometimes feel impossible. Christian Science proves that loving your enemy is not only possible, it is natural. But what does it look like to lead with Love, instead of hate? The study of this divine Science and answering Christ Jesus’ call to “love your enemies” in your life replaces anger, hurt, and injustice with forgiveness, freedom, and peace.

Moving Forward Together as a Church of Healers!
Dear members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, West Palm Beach,
It gives me great joy to be in touch with the details of your upcoming meeting, “Moving Forward
Together as a Church of Healers!” This time together will be an opportunity to think more deeply
about your individual and collective commitment to the healing foundation of Church, and what
that means for your branch.
To get the most out of your meeting, we ask that the members work with the following from the
Bible and from the writings of Mary Baker Eddy for their prayerful preparation:
● John 21: 15-17
● Miscellaneous Writings, “The Way,” (p. 355)
As you read, you may want to consider the purpose of Church, and yours in particular. Are there
any specific outcomes you would like to see as a result of this discussion with your members?
Can you identify and gratefully acknowledge the strengths of your church and consider how you
might like to improve upon them? How do you hope that this meeting will lead your church
forward to have a more public, collective healing ministry? How can we feed the sheep there in
West Palm Beach?
These questions will be a great way to launch our discussion.
